ATLANTA (AP) Kane Williams had 17 points off the bench to carry Georgia State to an 83-70 win over Arkansas-Little Rock on Saturday.
Nelson Phillips had 14 points for Georgia State (21-9, 12-5 Sun Belt Conference), which earned its sixth consecutive home victory. Jeff Thomas added 14 points. Devin Mitchell had 13 points for the home team.
Markquis Nowell was held scoreless despite heading into the contest as the Trojans' second leading scorer at 12 points per game. He failed to make a shot from beyond the arc (0 of 5).
