ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) Tajuan Agee had a season-high 25 points plus 13 rebounds as Iona narrowly beat Siena 57-52 on Wednesday night.
Agee made 5 of 6 from 3-point range.
E.J. Crawford, whose 18 points per game coming into the matchup led the Gaels, was held to only nine points on 4-of-12 shooting.
After falling behind 30-26 at the half, Iona outscored Siena 31-22 in the second half to earn the victory. The Saints' 22 second-half points were a season low for the team.
Evan Fisher had 17 points for the Saints (13-13, 8-5), whose four-game winning streak came to end. Sloan Seymour added 12 points. Jalen Pickett had 10 points and three blocks.
The Gaels leveled the season series against the Saints with the win. Siena defeated Iona 56-54 on Feb. 2. Iona faces St. Peter's at home on Friday. Siena faces Quinnipiac at home on Sunday.
