Lipscomb rolls past Navy 107-81

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) Rob Marberry tied his season high with 26 points, freshman Ahsan Asadullah hit all 10 of his shots for 24 points and grabbed eight rebounds and Lipscomb beat Navy 107-81 on Sunday.
Nathan Moran made four 3-pointers and 14 points and Kenny Cooper had 10 points and five assists for the Bisons (7-2), who shot 64 percent, were 10 of 21 from the arc for 48 percent and made 21 of 26 free throws in reaching the century mark for the first time this season.
The Bisons outscored Navy 54-22 in the paint and got 31 points off 15 turnovers.
John Carter Jr. scored 17 points, George Kiernan 15, Cam Davis 13 and Josiah Strong 11 for the Midshipmen (3-6), who shot 44 percent and made 28 of 29 free throws.
The Bisons went ahead by double figures for good after a 22-5 run left them ahead 81-58 with nine minutes remaining. Asadullah scored 10 points in the run. The lead reached 28 points late.
Lipscomb led 52-45 at halftime.
